China market: 3D TVs sell well during Lunar New Year holidays
Sales of 3D LCD TVs, particularly large-size models, were strong during the 2012 Lunar New Year holiday season in China, according to sources in the retail channel in China.
Some 55-inch 3D models offered by local brands in China were available at around CNY10,000 (US$1,583) at the time, which were 20-30% lower than the prices of comparable models from Japan- and Korea-based vendors, the sources noted.
